Exists to support Minorities, Schedule Caste /Tribes & OBC & the disabled children throughout PREMNAGAR & nearby village. We are the first exclusive education school in Uttarakhand aims to improve the quality of life for children by helping them develop their own programs and building their capacity to ensure the sustainability of these programs. We are striving to ensure that there are needs based and appropriate services available throughout the area to enable the children to gain more control over their own lives. We also understand that the special children create specific difficulties particularly in communication, mobility and access to information. Whether disability occurs from birth or later in life, people often need specialist knowledge, skills and assistance to overcome the difficulties they face. We recognize our staff as a valuable resource and we are fully committed to ensuring positive work practices, training and staff development. Our overall aim is to deliver a high quality of service and support in the most cost-effective way as possible in response to local needs. IVY also providing vocational training for dropout girls. Ivy Memorial Integrated Society is a non-governmental organization which works towards educating and promoting children with special needs and has been doing so since the last 20 years. We have organized various events like the Divyangotsav – ‘festival for children with special needs’ for betterment of children who require special care and also plan to organize more such events as well as open a rehabilitation centre for such children where they will receive therapy free of cost. We are also planning to open up a training institute, ‘Muskurahat’, where individuals with special needs would be given vocational training which would help them in sustain themselves.
As we are an NGO and require funds to fulfil our goals, we humbly request you to donate money for our cause of helping children with special needs. With your kind donation, you would not only help us but also help differently-abled children in realising and achieving their full potential as they are people just like us.
